Hi Indiegogo Family,
As we continue to make improvements to the iOS and Android app we’ve also been developing something we’re really excited to announce. Today, we're introducing the first-ever Apple AirPods case with a built-in Mu tag, we call it Air fob!
The Air fob
Never lose your expensive Apple AirPods again!
A Mu tag is securely inserted into the top of this premium quality silicon rubber AirPods case. The Mu tag is easily removed for quick charging on the Mu charger, and slips right back into the case when finished charging.
It's exclusively available on our website for only $39. Buy it now here. We’ll start shipping out Air fob on or before November 16th, 2020! It makes the perfect gift for this holiday season.
All revenue generated will help us focus on growing the company so that we can make your Mu tags app experience better! We need to hire a second software engineer so that we can continue to improve the app experience on iOS and Android at a much more rapid pace.

Android App Update
We’re very close to releasing the next update for Android! We expect to roll it out by the end of November.
This update mostly focuses on bug fixes that have been reported from previous versions. There has been a lot of internal work to improve the Bluetooth performance and fix bugs related to Mu tag location not saving and multiple Mu tags not showing up on the map. Tom has been busy cleaning up a lot of the mistakes he made during the learning process of creating the new Android app.
We’re also very close to completing the Mu tag battery level indicator within the app so you know when your Mu tags need to be charged.
Right after we release this next update, we’ll be focused on rapid development of the Mu tag left behind notifications that is currently missing on Android. We know a lot of you have been waiting far too long for this!
The Mu hub
We have not yet come to a final decision regarding Mu hub manufacturing. Our primary focus has been to keep our company alive by creating a stable revenue stream and improving the Mu tag apps. We’ll keep everyone updated once we have more to share.
Thank You all so much for backing the Mu tag! There’s still more to come ?

Hi Indiegogo Family,
We’ve fixed a major bug in the Android app causing the Mu tag battery to drain after only 3 days! After updating to the new version of the app you will need to remove any problematic Mu tag and then add it again for the fix to be applied.
Here’s what we’ve done:
? Fixed
- Setting on Mu tag that caused its battery to drain in three days.
- Mu tag location not saving if app was shutdown.
- Tab bar appearing on incorrect screens.

The Voyager Cross Promotion
The chair to change how we enjoy the outdoors
We thought this was a cool product and that some of you might want to check out another interesting Kickstarter campaign, Voyager. We aren’t affiliated with them in any way, but have only agreed to cross promote our projects. It ends in less than 2 days, so be sure to check them out!

PARKIT presents Voyager: Comfort, Design & Durability combine to ensure your outdoor chairs live up to the demands of every adventure.
BACK NOW: Last Chance to Get Your Voyager @ Early Price
Thank You all so much for backing the Mu tag! There’s still more to come ?
Notes
- We still plan on shipping the Mu hub, but it’s not ready yet. We’ll continue to post future updates regarding the Mu hub.

Hi Indiegogo Family,
First and foremost, we hope that all of you and your families have stayed safe during this pandemic!
Secondly, we have just launched a new version of the Android app!
Here’s what we’ve done:
? Added
- Map of Mu tag locations.
- Mu tag location tracking battery optimizer.
? Changed
- Increased Mu tag location precision.
- Minor UI enhancements.
Be sure to check out our What’s New page to stay up-to-date with product developments.
App Development
Several Android users have reported that your Mu tags are only lasting for 3 days on a full charge. There’s definitely something fishy going on. Mu tags should last about 3 weeks on a full charge. Solving this is now our top priority!
Once this weird battery issue is solved, we’ll continue adding new features to the Android app and then release the new app on iOS for a much better experience!
Using Our Supply Chain Connections for PPE
In February we attempted to buy masks and hand sanitizer for ourselves, family, and friends, but it was already too late and everything was sold out. Given our recent supply chain experience and new connections in China, we decided to build a path for PPE access here in the US and contribute our part to end the pandemic. This has helped to carry us through the storm and we have been able to get thousands of supplies into the hands of our close friends, healthcare workers, essential business workers, and citizens in need through https://www.theforwardhealth.com/.
The Storm Continues
With COVID-19 impacting the entire world, we’re certainly sharing in the struggle. It’s been a very rough ride for us these past few months. After so many setbacks to get the Mu tag delivered to all of you, we were planning to launch retail sales of the Mu tag to get back on track financially and speed up product improvement. Then sales for all products similar to our category began to plummet, forcing us to put our plans on hold wondering how much longer we can go without any income.
This has certainly slowed us down on product development. Despite the challenges that come our way, we continue to push forward. More slowly than we would have hoped for, but we keep going nonetheless.
Thank You so much for backing the Mu tag! There’s still more to come ?

Hi Indiegogo Family,
This is Tom, our app developer. I understand that you are disappointed with the lack of features on Android. I want to assure you that we'll be releasing new features continuously.
You aren't overlooking anything. The current features are:
- Sign in / sign out
- Add / remove Mu tag
- Mu tag proximity and last seen status
Learning from our previous mistakes and from the mistakes of others, it is very important for us to release the app as early as possible and to continue to release new features as they are developed. This ensures rapid debugging, improved stability, and fast adjustments based on customer feedback. This development methodology is called CD (Continuous Delivery). You can read more in depth about it here and why it's useful.
I am still learning, and learning is a process of making mistakes. I've actually never developed an Android app before. The previous iOS and Android failures taught me what not to do, so I researched industry standard solutions to the previous problems. To build the best app possible which resolved the failures of the previous app development company, I chose to learn and implement the following of which I had no previous experience:
- React Native
- TypeScript
- TDD (Test Driven Development)
- BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
- Domain Driven Design
- The Clean Architecture
- CD (Continuous Delivery)
- fastlane
I also read through the following software development books the past few months:
- Code Complete
- The Clean Architecture
- Domain Driven Design
- The Mythical Man-Month
We would love to move much faster on the app. However, we ran out of money and can not afford to pay for app development. If you'd like to join our company as a tech lead with a significant equity stake, please send us an email to [email protected].
Remember to check out our What’s New? page to stay up-to-date with product and app developments. Please don't forget to send us any questions, bug reports, feedback, or concerns to [email protected].
