Quick check-in to let you guys know what is going on behind the scenes at Informu!
We launched our Indiegogo campaign last week, and are moving along nicely. That said, we greatly appreciate any support you guys can offer by sharing our project with your network! We have a contest running with a growing cash prize (currently $320) for sharing us on social media and signing up for our newsletter. Betas are coming! We will be delivering 100 orders in early September, and will select the recipients through a lottery system run through Gleam, the same service which is hosting the contest mentioned above. Stay tuned for information on how to enter in the coming days! These beta units will give us the opportunity to collect valuable user feedback to make final adjustments before full scale delivery.
Speaking of delivery, we are planning to do it sooner: all backers (both Kickstarter and Indiegogo) will now have their orders in-hand by late December! To make this deadline possible, we have grown our team to include a manufacturing specialist and two new engineers. Additionally, we are finalizing sourcing and manufacturing contracts in the coming weeks. We are thrilled by the growth we have seen both internally with our team and externally through the backer community - your ongoing support means more than we could ever convey.
